What weight are your banners?

What weight are your banners?

Laminated vinyl banners, (10 oz., 13 oz., 18 oz., etc.) are sold by weight (ounces per yard). Industrial fabrics like our Poly-Pro

material is not.

Can I put vinyl graphics on your banners?

Yes. All our banner materials are vinyl receptive. Use 2 mil vinyl for the most demanding applications.

Can I paint on your banners?

Yes. Our 10 oz ERC (enamel receptive coating) banners have an enamel receptive coating allowing you to use

water based and alkyd based lettering enamels. This coating also makes vinyl graphics adhere better.

What is the best banner for a double-sided application?

We have two different types of double-sided (block-out) banners available; 13 oz and 18 oz. The 13 oz. two-sided smooth

material is good for a two sided indoor or light duty outdoor banner. The 18 oz. material is good for heavy duty outdoor use.

What is the proper way to install a banner?

It is important to distribute the stress evenly and give the banner some flexibility in the wind. We recommend using bungee cords

instead of ropes because they do not stretch out of shape or come loose. Click here for our recommended installation instructions.

How long will a banner last?

This is the most difficult question we are asked. While weight, construction, workmanship and design are all important and we

pride ourselves in making quality products, the wild cards of installation and the weather are important, too. Do you know when

the next storm is going to blow through? We don't either! You can't do anything about the weather, but you can do something

about your installation. So secure your banners as best you can. Using bungee cords to pull the banner tight will distribute the

stress evenly and give banners flexibility in the wind.

Could I have a custom banner made?

Absolutely!! If you need a 6x10, a 8x15, a 10x20, or any other odd size banner, we can do it. Made with our 10 oz., 13 oz.,

or 18 oz. vinyl, the choice is yours. We also make street pole, custom pole pocket banners, sign covers (bags), and pennant

shaped banners. Most custom banner orders are shipped the same day.
